A new feature that WhatsApp is under development has surfaced. The feature discovered by WABetaInfo allows chat histories to be transferred both to another phone number and between operating systems. It is currently unknown when the feature will be available.
WhatsApp, the world’s most popular instant messaging, had a flaw that has disturbed millions of users until today. So much so that when users switched from Android to iOS or vice versa, they could not access their chat history again. Because WhatsApp did not allow the transfer of messages between the two platforms. However, this situation seems to change in the near future.
The new feature, discovered by the WABetaInfo team and under development, allows users who change the operating system while changing the phone to transfer messages. In this way, a user will be able to transfer all the messages on the phone that he will change with a few small taps to his new device. However, the screenshot of this feature reveals that WhatsApp will not only be satisfied with this innovation.
WhatsApp has not offered any convenience for users who have changed their numbers until now. However, the latest work allows the message history to be transferred to another phone number. This prevents a user who changes their phone number from being deprived of past messages.
We have already said that WhatsApp’s new feature is under development. This means that the feature is not known when it will be available. However, if we do not ignore how much this feature is requested by users, we can state that the feature will come to the testing phase as soon as possible and then will be offered to users with updates to stable versions.
