The new logo of Adidas sat on the social media agenda. Here is the new emblem that Adidas will start using.
Adidas , one of the world’s largest manufacturers of sports goods , has started to work on making its iconic emblem more modern. But a surprise came to the company from social media: Adidas’ new logo was leaked online before it was officially announced.
The German manufacturer has removed the word “Adidas” accompanying the three stripes in its new logo and has brought the strips closer together, although not visibly. The new logo was revealed with the reveal of the 2022 Qatar World Cup jersey images.
What has changed with Adidas’ new logo?
The new logo, which has been used in Adidas’ App Store application , has not been officially announced by the sports company. However, Adidas has started making the transition to the new logo, including the production of jerseys for the World Cup to be held in Qatar in 2022.
Adidas designs jerseys for dozens of football teams around the world, with its five biggest customers, Manchester United, Real Madrid Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Juventus . In addition , popular teams such as Beşiktaş , Ajax, Boca Juniors, Celtic and Leicester City also buy their jerseys from Adidas.
The current adidas emblem , consisting of three stripes that looks like the side of a mountain, was first used in 1991. Before this logo, however, Adidas was known for its classic clover-shaped emblem. This three-leaf emblem, which began to be used in 1972, still appears on a number of products.
Social media users think that the 2022-23 season will be the last with the old emblem. However, it should be reminded that there is no official sharing about the new logo from the company.
