Snapchat Outshines Facebook and Twitter: Here’s the Number of Active Users

Snapchat, which is especially popular among young people, has surpassed Facebook and Twitter with the growth in the number of active users. The financial statement that was announced showed that there was a positive period for Snapchat.

Snapchat, one of the most popular social media platforms in the world, announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2022 today. While the platform, where stories and effects meet people for the first time, is especially used by young people, the published data shows that Snapchat is growing. As a matter of fact, the data released by the company indicates that Snapchat is growing faster than Twitter and Facebook.

Snap, the parent company of Snapchat, drew a positive graph, unlike Facebook, which recently announced that it had lost users. Snapchat front, on the other hand, is rapidly increasing the number of daily users, according to published reports. So much so that the platform began to grow faster not only on Facebook, but also on Twitter.

According to the data published by Snap, the parent company of Snapchat, Snapchat, which increased the number of active users by 18 percent, reached a total of 332 million daily active users. In addition, the platform, which gained positive momentum in financial terms, increased its revenues by 38 percent. This amounted to $ 1.06 billion.

Looking at the growth on the Twitter front, the number of daily active users from which the company can generate revenue increased by 13 percent to 217 million. This again lagged behind Snapchat, which experienced an 18 percent increase.

The world’s largest social network Facebook, on the other hand, experienced a decline for the first time in a long time. While the number of monthly active users remained stable at 4.9 billion (same as in the previous period), the number of daily active users decreased from 1.93 billion to 1.929 billion. It is thought that this development, which is very important for Facebook, whose mission is to grow at any cost every year, may result in the addition of new features to the platform.
