According to the latest news, Marvel Studios has signed a 20-year deal to use images of Stan Lee as part of an initiative between Genius Brands International and POW. Along with Disney-affiliated events, Lee is expected to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in the long-term deal.
Lee can now reappear everywhere from movies to theme parks. In the official statements made on the subject, it was stated that “Stan Lee’s name, voice, likeness and signature, as well as images, current footage and existing sound recordings of Stan can be used in films and television projects. This will happen digitally so Lee can reappear in new movies and TV shows.
