Launching 3 devices in 2022, POCO’s long-awaited entry-level smartphone POCO C40 will be launched on June 16th.
POCO has introduced the POCO F4 GT, POCO X4 Pro 5G and POCO M4 devices to the smartphone market so far in 2022. However, although these 3 devices have very solid features, their prices are not very affordable for those looking for a device in the entry-level market.
Finally, 6 months into 2022, we are close to the long-awaited launch date of POCO’s next entry-level device, the POCO C40. On its official POCO Twitter account, the company announced that the POCO C40 will officially launch globally on June 16 through an online launch event organized by the company.
The POCO C40 arrives on June 16 as the largest-screen POCO ever!
In the announcement, the company says the POCO C40 will feature a custom design made by POCO. One of the colour options for the POCO C40 will be POCO’s signature POCO Yellow colour group. However, upon closer inspection, the design shown in the published teaser is very similar to the Redmi 10C that was launched worldwide earlier this year and the standard Redmi 10 that was also launched in India.
As for the other features of the POCO C40, POCO has also released teasers for the smartphone’s features on its official social media accounts. The company says the POCO C40 will pack a 6,000 mAh battery, the largest ever in a POCO smartphone, and will also feature a 6.71-inch drop notch display, the largest in a POCO smartphone.
We can also see from the teasers that the POCO C40 will have a rear-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor. With almost 2 weeks to launch, we expect POCO to release more demos of the POCO C40 soon.
