Samsung’s New Tablet Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Introduced

Samsung introduced the new version of the affordable Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Here are the price and features of the 2022 model Tab S6 Lite…

Satisfied with its sales in the smartphone market, Samsung is also in a good position in the tablet market. Along with Huawei, Samsung, one of Apple’s major rivals, competes in the market with its ‘Tab S’ series tablets.

The Korean manufacturer has recently renewed the Tab S6 Lite tablet, which was released in 2020, with the 2022 model. Again with the old features, the Tab S6 Lite has some important improvements.

    Galaxy Tab S6 Lite features

Samsung has quietly launched the new Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, which will replace the 2020 model. Unlike before, the tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset on the processor side. The company had included the Exynos 9611 chipset developed by itself in its previous model.

While one of the important details was seen on the processor side, another change took place on the software side. The Tab S6 Lite, which was released in 2020, was launched with Android 10. This indicated that the tablet would also receive Android 12 and be outdated.

Fortunately, the 2022 model Tab S6 Lite is luckier on the software side. Samsung’s new affordable tablet comes out of the box with One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 directly. If Samsung does not change its update policy, the 2022 model S6 Lite will be able to receive the Android 16 update.
